Employment Opportunity: Administrative Assistant for Giving Voice

Full-time Administrative Assistant position (40 hours per week with benefits) 

Catholic Theological Union at Chicago (CTU), the largest Roman Catholic graduate school of theology in the United States, is seeking a Full-time Administrative Assistant.  The Administrative Assistant will coordinate and fulfill the required administrative tasks relating to a two year grant. The grant proceeds will be used to build the capacity of Giving Voice, a young religious sisters' organization.  The grant will focus on expanding its network and supporting its strategic initiatives to network and connect younger women religious across congregations in North America.

This full-time position serves as administrative support to the Giving Voice Core Team and coordinates required grant activities with Catholic Theological Union.  Administrative support includes handling correspondence, maintaining financial and other records, processing payments and receipts, coordinating registrations, and updating the website and e-newsletter and requires the facile use of the computer.

Candidates must be based in or near Chicago. Candidates may have an opportunity to continue with Giving Voice at the completion of the grant.  Candidates must have administrative experience; the ability to communicate virtually using e-mail, phone, and web-based conferencing (Skype, Zoom); ability to work both independently and as part of a creative team; proficiency in word processing, spread sheets, and databases; experience in finances or accounting; experience in managing websites, Google drive, access database and quick books; ability to learn programs such Constant Contact and proficient in Spanish preferred.
